Apple Unveils 4 Models in the New iPhone 15 Smartphone Lineup: iPhone 15, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max.
iPhone 15 и 15 Plus

Both models feature Dynamic Island functionality and an advanced 48 MP camera for high-quality photos.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available in five new colors: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. Pre-orders will begin on September 15th, with sales commencing on September 22nd.

Thanks to Apple’s satellite infrastructure, users can now reach Roadside Assistance in case of an accident far from urban areas. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus also offer USB-C, MagSafe wireless charging, Precision Finding to locate friends, and a host of other features.

Both smartphones feature 6.1 and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR displays. For the first time in a smartphone, color extends across the entire rear glass panel, creating five stunning shades. These devices also offer enhanced durability and battery life, with Apple promising that the gadget will last the entire day.

The iPhone 15 models run on iOS 17, which introduces new features such as Live Voicemail, improved Message search, the NameDrop feature for quick contact sharing, and many other updates.

Both models are equipped with a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, enabling two iPhones with this chip to connect at a distance three times greater than before.

This provides a new way to utilize the Precision Finding feature in the Find My Friends app, allowing iPhone 15 users to share their location and find each other even in large crowds through targeted pointers on the screen.

iPhone 15 Pro и 15 Pro Max

Both smartphones are constructed from titanium and come equipped with a customizable action button on the side panel. These gadgets are powered by the latest A17 Pro processor. Apple has emphasized that this is the most powerful iPhone ever created.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in four new finishes: black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium. Pre-orders will commence on Friday, September 15th, with sales starting on September 22nd.

These smartphones feature an advanced 48 MP primary camera, now supporting a new super-high resolution of 24 MP. Additionally, new portrait modes, improvements in night mode shooting, Smart HDR, and an entirely new 5x telephoto camera exclusively for the iPhone 15 Pro Max have been introduced.

The new USB-C port now supports USB 3-level speeds, which are 20 times faster than USB 2. Additionally, thanks to the new Roadside Assistance feature via satellite, the iPhone 15 Pro lineup allows users to contact roadside assistance in case of car troubles in areas with no cellular coverage.

Both smartphones feature displays measuring 6.1 and 6.7 inches, respectively, with Always on Display support and are constructed from durable and lightweight titanium. This material boasts one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios among all metals. Both models also have a new texture, curved edges, and the slimmest bezels among all iPhones.

The new action button replaces the previous silent mode switch and offers additional functions, such as quick access to the camera or flashlight, voice memo activation, focus modes, translation, and more.

In terms of performance, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are powered by the A17 Pro, the industry’s first 3-nanometer chip. The A17 Pro brings enhancements across the board, including the largest redesigned GPU in Apple’s history.

The new CPU is 10% faster and includes a specialized AV1 decoder, providing more efficient and high-quality video streaming for services. The new processor also supports hardware ray tracing.

The company also announced that games like Death Stranding, Resident Evil 4 (remake), Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and Resident Evil Village will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

Apple has also introduced an advanced camera for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to Apple, the next-generation portraits on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max deliver sharper details, vibrant colors, and improved low-light shooting quality. It is noted that users can now take portraits without switching to ‘Portrait’ mode. Additional camera features include enhanced night mode, new Smart HDR, and improved video quality thanks to the A17 Pro.

When it comes to wireless performance and connectivity, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max offer new convenient charging methods. Both models use a USB-C port and support USB 3 for data transfer speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max provide fast 5G network connectivity, support MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging, improved call audio quality, and eSIM support for over 295 carriers.

Both devices are equipped with a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, allowing two iPhones with this chip to connect at a distance three times greater than before. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max also support Wi-Fi 6E and are the first smartphones to support Thread, opening up new possibilities for integration with smart home systems.

No more leather

In an effort to protect the environment, Apple will no longer use leather in new products, including iPhone accessories. Instead, the company is introducing new cases made from a material called FineWoven. This material consists of 68% recycled content and has significantly lower carbon emissions compared to leather.
